Inotel Sensor Reading Module (SOM Device) is designed to transfer the data received from Inotel Voltage Detectors (Gad Device) to the SCADA system via RS-485 protocol. The SOM device is mostly used in transformer centers. It transfers the information of whether there is voltage on the low voltage line going from transformer centers to customers to the SCADA system. Thanks to the LEDs on the SOM device, voltage or no voltage information can be easily seen. If the LED is constantly on, there is voltage on the relevant line. If the LED is constantly flashing, there is no voltage on the relevant line.
The GAD device, which belongs to the Inotel brand, detects whether there is voltage on the low voltage line it is connected to and wirelessly transfers it to the Sensor Reading Module, which also belongs to the brand, using the Lora protocol. In this way, it eliminates cable clutter and provides a more reliable Low Voltage Monitoring System. The GAD device is mounted directly on the cable insulation without damaging the insulation of the cable on the low voltage line. This is designed to prevent the risk of electric shock. The device is powered by a 9Ah battery with a shelf life of 10 years.
