String Monitoring Unit STR100
The STR100 PV String Monitoring Unit is an electronic device designed for DC collection panels in Photovoltaic Solar Power Plants. Mounted on the DC collection panel, it enables real-time monitoring of voltage and string currents. This live monitoring capability allows for the quick detection of faulty arrays or arrays with low production.
The device features wired communication via an RS485 port and includes a port suitable for fiber optic cables. Additionally, it incorporates innovative LoRa wireless communication technology, which ensures reliable long-distance communication. With LoRa, effective communication can be maintained over large areas without the need for extensive cable installations.
